Glide Publishing Platform + Marfeel Copilot: Bringing AI data analysis into editorial workflows

Marfeel and Glide bring the power of real-time content and audience analytics to where editors and writers need it most - right inside their CMS.

Glide + Marfeel Integration Example

For editors, timing matters. A headline that lands at the right moment, or a story framed in the right way, can decide whether it connects with an audience or sinks unnoticed. And the data which could tip the odds in favour of success is typically only available once the story has already moved on. After all, you only get one first bite at the cherry. If only we could turn back time!

Marfeel, a content analytics platform built specifically for publishers, is doing just that with Marfeel Copilot: an AI-powered tool that helps editorial and audience teams focus on what matters most: creating compelling stories at the right moment and never missing an opportunity.

Their Copilot features have quickly become a go-to tool for a growing number of teams. With AI-driven suggestions for homepage and Google Discover headlines, follow-up story ideas, linking capabilities, and much more, it delivers a wide range of editorial support.

But while editors have always been on the hunt for better things to craft and finesse content, having such tools outside their main CMS usually meant tedious duplication of content to transfer text back and forth. Glide CMS’s integration of Marfeel Copilot within the CMS interface helps end that and bring audience-facing insight directly to the article creation screen.

Glide CMS provides the publishing workflows that sit at the centre of creating and distributing content, while Marfeel Copilot can add context: recommendations to a story during its creation phase drawn from past performance, live signals, and audience behaviour. It means editors can test ideas and explore new angles before a story goes live - all without the risk of second or third workflows, or the time sink of duplicating text.

How the integration works

Marfeel gives publishers access to real-time and historical data and content insights across all their sites and channels. From social media and multimedia to Google Discover, Apple News, and apps, delivering a complete 360º view of what’s happening across their network. With Marfeel Copilot, they combine the power of LLMs with publishers’ data, and those insights are transformed into clear, actionable guidance.

''We’re very excited about this integration with Glide,'' says Alexian Chiavegato, CMO at Marfeel. ''It’s a big step forward in bringing Marfeel Copilot's functionality directly into the CMS, so editors get the right insights exactly when they’re creating content.''

Via the Copilot Chrome extension, editors can call up insights directly inside Glide CMS and, where useful, drop them straight into relevant content fields - always retaining the key human-in-the-loop process vital to publishers.

Suggestions can be mapped to specific areas of the CMS depending on newsroom rules, for example mapping Copilot’s Discover headline directly to Glide CMS’s main headline field, or a leading paragraph placed in the standfirst.

Marfeel Copilot

In practice, Marfeel Copilot is trained on the publisher’s own data, from audience engagement and readership trends to headline A/B tests, social interactions, and Google Search Console first-party data. It adapts to the story, section, author, and more. With it, editors can:

  • Generate headline ideas for the homepage and Google Discover
  • Check if Google classifies content as helpful by running it through a quality rater based on Google’s public documentation, and get clear results
  • Receive ideas for follow-up stories and expansion angles to build on audience interest
  • Draft tailored social media posts based on past performance (supporting Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, and more)
  • Automatically link to related stories, surfacing content readers are already engaging with
  • Create their own custom prompts through the platform’s prompting system, giving authors the flexibility to apply organisation-wide prompts and tones of voice or their own personalised style.

These features make Marfeel Copilot feel like an extension of the editorial team: always supporting, never replacing. Editors maintain complete control and decide which prompts, ideas, and suggestions to use.

There is understandable caution around AI and AI-generated content. With Copilot in Glide CMS, editors always remain in charge. Every suggestion comes from Marfeel, but it’s the editor who decides what to use, change, or ignore.

The benefits of combining Glide CMS and Marfeel Copilot

Glide’s partnership with Marfeel brings together two proven strengths: a headless CMS built for modern publishing and a publisher analytics platform which helps turn data into action. Put them together, and the results are practical and wide-ranging.

Better editorial decisions

Editors get recommendations at the point of writing, based on previous data. That means decisions based on data rather than guesswork, and being able to weigh options in real time, and adjust before publishing.

Quicker workflows

Insights appear “inside” the CMS interface, so editors don’t need to switch between platforms or copy data manually. It reduces steps and saves time, crucial on tight deadlines or when multiple stories are being updated.

Better connection

Headlines, angles, and links can be tuned in the moment to match what readers are actually responding to, across both owned and external channels. Copilot also suggests follow-ups to expand coverage in ways that hold reader interest and increase revenue potential.
